Mockpose is now in public beta

Mockpose — the in-browser studio for cinematic 3D app-preview videos and App Store screenshots — is open in public beta. Here's what you can build today.

Today we're opening Mockpose to everyone as a public beta. Mockpose turns a single screenshot or screen recording into a cinematic 3D device mockup — an animated app-preview video or a set of pixel-perfect App Store screenshots — entirely in your browser. No install, no render farm, no 3D experience required.

If you ship apps or run a landing page, the visuals do the selling long before anyone reads a word. Mockpose exists to make those visuals in minutes instead of an afternoon in After Effects.

What you can do today

Drop an image or a video onto an Apple device, light the stage, animate the camera, and export. Everything renders live in the viewport.

  • Real Apple devices — iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac and Apple Watch, with accurate models, colors and materials.
  • Cinematic camera moves — a dedicated render camera on editable 3D motion paths, separate from how you navigate the scene.
  • A keyframe timeline — animate devices and the camera independently, with deterministic playback so every export is identical.
  • Live screen content — drop in a screenshot or a real screen recording; video becomes a trimmable, fade-able clip synced to your shot.
  • 100+ templates — grids, rows, spirals and hero moves across six families, every one a fully editable scene.
  • Backgrounds & effects — 38 animated shader scenes, 30 gradients, textured floors, plus rain, snow and particles.
  • Frame-perfect export — PNG stills and MP4 video at up to 4K / 60 fps, encoded locally in the browser with WebCodecs.

Compose with words — or your own AI agent

The entire scene is a single JSON document, which means an AI can build and edit the exact thing you open in the editor. Describe the shot you want — "an iPhone spiralling in, dark studio, slow push-in" — and Mockpose composes a complete, editable scene for you.

Prefer to drive it yourself? Mockpose ships a remote MCP server, so Claude or any MCP-capable agent can control the studio through 60+ tools — adding devices, applying templates, animating the camera and rendering output. Same scene document, whether a human drags a device or an agent calls a tool.

Localize once, ship every language

Bind any on-screen text to a variable, add your languages, and export one perfectly-fit video per locale. Text auto-fits its box, so a longer translation never breaks your layout — and you can auto-translate with AI, then refine any wording by hand.

Free to start

The full editor is free. Build scenes and export up to 720p with a small "Made with Mockpose" watermark — no sign-up needed. Going Pro unlocks full-resolution 4K exports, no watermark, cloud storage, AI scene generation, the MCP server and localization.

Curious what people are making? Browse the community showcase — every clip there is an actual in-app export.

What "beta" means

Mockpose is stable and ready for real work, but we're still polishing fast and adding devices, templates and animations every week. Some rough edges are expected — and your feedback shapes what we build next. Found something? There's a "Find a bug?" button in the editor, or reach us any time via the support page.

This is the fun part: shipping in the open, with the people actually using it. Start for free and make your first cinematic mockup today.
